Restaurant Blog: Molly's Rise and Shine
Molly's Rise and Shine is finally open.
Yesterday afternoon, Molly’s announced their surprise soft opening on Facebook.
6am this morning, we were out the door for one of the most amazing breakfasts we’ve had in a long time.
Annie went with the breakfast plate while me and our buddy Terry opted for the Grand Slam McMuffin. I highly recommend getting freaky with the extra sausage patty for optimal ‘MERICA.
And, for the love of all things holy, get the collard greens.
Kudos to Mason Hereford and his team. They’ve made magic again.
Editorial Photography: Peat and Pearls 2018
To everyone who attended, sponsored, supplied, cooked and poured at Peat and Pearls this weekend, thank you so much. This event sprang from the mind of my friend and brother, T.S. Strickland, and watching it grow into such a beautiful thing has been a privilege. Year two outpaced year one by leaps and bounds, and it’s all thanks to you. Sponsor list coming in hot….

Creative Headshots: Jarrin in Downtown Pensacola
Out of the three or four sainted individuals who follow my progress, a few of you might remember some work I did for an online publication called Five Magazine. Five was one of the many projects of this man. Jarrin Stokes. Fashion guru. Serial entrepreneur. Tech expert. He's an incredibly multi-faceted guy and a visible figure in Pensacola's downtown renaissance.
We got together for some headshots at the south end of Palafox Street and for a guy who is used to styling others but rarely steps in front of the lens himself, Jarrin very naturally took ownership of the frame.
Expecting in Pensacola, FL: Philip and Kathryn
Philip and Kathryn's elegant baby announcement session in Pensacola, Florida.
A little over a year ago, Philip and Kathryn were married in a fairy tale wedding in an Irish castle. I was not the photographer for that gorgeous day, but I had the honor of capturing the photos to announce the birth of their first child, due this fall. This charming couple continue to evoke the idea of "fairy tale" with the beautiful theme they chose for their baby announcement.
Perdido Key Photo Walk: Big Lagoon State Park
Another perfect winter evening in Florida.
Winter is just so beautiful in this area. The drier air yields incredible visibility to the landscape.
I took the opportunity to step away from my usual "meat and potatoes" approach of doing as much as possible in-camera and practiced shooting for HDR processing.
